Parkinson House has long
been the very backbone of Merchiston; moulding
independent, well-rounded and disciplined young
boys. Our Boarding Establishment provides a Home-from-Home environment for 60 boys. Boys living within our hostel are taught respect and support is nurtured and a sense of “brotherhood” prevails. These boys are fiercely proud of their “house” and are easily identified by their dress – ‘blues’. Parkinson House has a proud history of preparing boys for their High School boarding years. The independence and strength gained while at Merchiston will ensure strength of character. They are trained to be mindful of others, to respect each other and to groomed into fine young gentlemen. The friendships that are formed during their stay at Parkinson House will last a lifetime. |
